Buffalo Trace Distillery Releases Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Barrel Proof Rye
Buffalo Trace Distillery has announced the release of Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Barrel Proof Rye, the 13th release to join the Colonel E. H. Taylor, Jr. Collection.
Bottled at 126 proof (63% ABV), Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Barrel Proof Rye is described as having aromas of “white pepper and nutty undertones, with a touch of fresh floral and candied apricot.” The palate exhibits “a range of complex flavors, balancing the sweet, dried stone fruit with pepper and oaky dryness.” The finish is “full and sweet as honey.”
Colonel E. H. Taylor, Jr. Barrel Proof Rye is available now in highly limited quantities at a suggested retail price of $77.99 per 750 mL bottle.
