Overholt Launches A. Overholt Straight Rye Whiskey
Overholt has announced its newest release, A. Overholt Straight Rye Whiskey.
A. Overholt is created from the same mashbill Overholt founder, Abraham Overholt, used in 1810 – 80% rye grain and 20% soft malted barley.
Bottled at 47.5% ABV, A. Overholt is described as having aromas of “caramel and subtle layers of sandalwood and caraway,” notes of “brown butter, honeysuckle, clove, and seasoned oak” on the palate, and “pleasant, lingering notes of warm rich baking spice” on the finish.
A. Overholt will be available across the U.S. beginning this month and carries a suggested retail price of $39.99.
