Lux Row Distillers Launches Ezra Brooks 99 Port Wine Cask Finish
Lux Row Distillers has announced Ezra Brooks 99 Port Wine Cask Finish, the first release in its new annual Special Cask Finished Series.
Ezra Brooks 99 Port Wine Cask Finish is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey distilled from a mash bill of 78% corn, 10% rye, and 12% malted barley, aged in new oak barrels, and finished in port casks from Portugal for six months.
Bottled at 99 proof (49.5% ABV), Ezra Brooks 99 Port Wine Cask Finish is described as having aromas of “vanilla, tobacco, and leather” and notes of “sweet fruitiness and dark chocolate” on the palate.
Ezra Brooks 99 Port Wine Cask Finish will start shipping to retailers later this month and carries a suggested retail price of $34.99 per 750 mL bottle.
