Pursuit Spirits Announces Pursuit United Double Oaked Bourbon
Pursuit Spirits, a company founded by the creators of the Bourbon Pursuit podcast, has announced the release of Pursuit United Double Oaked Bourbon.
To create this limited release, Pursuit United’s signature Bourbon blend undergoes a lengthy secondary finish using custom 36-month seasoned French oak medium toasted staves. Pursuit United claims this extra maturation extracts bold oak notes while imparting a deep amber hue and velvety mouthfeel.
Pursuit United Double Oaked Bourbon is bottled at 108 proof (54% ABV) and has a suggested retail price of $69.99. It was released at the Pursuit Spirits distillery last weekend and will also be distributed to select markets.
Pursuit United Double Oaked Bourbon has also been added to the Pursuit United Private Select program, which allows individual retailers and clubs to hand-pick their own single barrel expressions further finished with a variety of oak stave styles.
