Old Forester Launches The 117 Series: High Angels’ Share
Old Forester has announced The 117 Series: High Angels’ Share, a limited edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky that is the result of low-yield barrels.
Bottled at 110 proof (55% ABV), Old Forester The 117 Series: High Angels’ Share is described as having aromas of “rich caramelized citrus peel, brown sugar, oak and pumpkin spice.” The palate exhibits notes of “caramel, lightly charred oak, sweet coconut, and citrus peel with a hint of spice.” The finish is “long with caramelized citrus.”
Old Forester The 117 Series: High Angels’ Share is now available in limited quantities via the Old Forester Distilling Co. retail shop and at select Kentucky retailers for a suggested retail price of $59.99 for a 375 mL bottle. High Angel’s Share is also available through the Old Forester online shop in a two-bottle set for $119.98.
