Still Austin Whiskey Co. has launched the fourth and final release in its seasonal Bottled in Bond series: Straight Rye Whiskey, which is inspired by the spring season.

Distilled from a mashbill of 100% Texas-grown rye, Straight Rye Whiskey was aged at least 4 years and is bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof). The bright spice of 100% Texas-grown rye was used to conjure feelings of new beginnings, bold ideas, and fresh perspectives.

Still Austin Bottled in Bond Straight Rye Whiskey is described as having aromas of “spicy oak, vanilla bean, savory herbs, cherry pie and hints of white pepper.” The palate exhibits “sweet soft oak, with dark honey, black tea, candied ginger, wintergreen, pecan, dried currant and cream soda.” It concludes with a “dry finish with notes of pink peppercorn, walnut and almond butter, and hints of milk chocolate and fig jam.”

The bottle’s spring inspired original artwork was created by Austin-local artist, Marc Burckhardt, and features a rabbit in a tall grass field.

Still Austin Bottled in Bond Straight Rye Whiskey is available now at Still Austin’s Tasting Room (Elmo Road, Austin, Texas) and will be available online and at select liquor stores beginning in March 2024 for a suggested retail price of $79.99.
