Heaven Hill Announces Parker’s Heritage Collection 17th Edition

Heaven Hill Distillery has announced the 17th release in the Parker’s Heritage Collection, a 10 Year Old Cask Strength Rye Whiskey.
Parker’s Heritage Collection 10 Year Old Cask Strength Rye is comprised of 10 year old rye whiskey that was distilled from Heaven Hill Distillery’s traditional rye whiskey mashbill (51% rye, 35% corn, and 14% malted barley) and barreled in August, October, or December of 2012. The barrels were aged on the first floors of Rickhouses H1 and H2, the fifth floor of Rickhouse FF, the third and seventh floors of Rickhouse BB, and the second floor of Rickhouse DD. Parker’s Heritage Collection 10 Year Old Cask Strength Rye is bottled non-chill and at a cask strength of 128.8 proof (64.4% ABV).
Parker’s Heritage Collection 10 Year Old Cask Strength Rye is described as a “spice bomb with a rich, fruity sweetness” on the nose. The palate exhibits “black cherries with honey, cinnamon, and cloves,” concluding with “lots of spice and more cherries” on the finish.
Parker’s Heritage Collection 10 Year Old Cask Strength Rye Whiskey will be available in limited quantities beginning today at a suggested retail price of $185.00 for a 750 mL bottle.
