Four Roses Announces 135th Anniversary Limited Edition Small Batch Release
Four Roses has announced its 135th Anniversary Limited Edition Small Batch release. This year’s Four Roses Limited Edition Small Batch is comprised of four unique Four Roses recipes: a 25 year old OBSV, a 16 year old OESV, a 12 year old OESV, and a 14 year old OESK.
Bottled non-chill filtered and at a barrel strength of 54% ABV (108 proof), Four Roses 135th Anniversary Limited Edition Small Batch is described as having aromas of “allspice, vanilla, elegant oak, and a hint of cinnamon and clove.” The palate exhibits “rich layers of honey, vanilla, and rye spice balanced with the flavors of ripe berries and pear that unfold and dissolve into a long mellow finish.”
Four Roses 135th Anniversary Limited Edition Small Batch will first be available for purchase in limited quantities at the Four Roses Distillery Visitor Center through an online lottery, with a rollout to retailers to follow in the fall. Four Roses 135th Anniversary Limited Edition Small Batch has a suggested retail price of $199.99.
