Lux Row Distillers Launches Four Grain Double Single Barrel Bourbon
Lux Row Distillers has announced the launch of Lux Row Four Grain Double Single Barrel Bourbon.
Each bottle of Lux Row Four Grain Double Single Barrel Bourbon combines a single barrel of 4 year old wheated bourbon and a single barrel of 4 year old ryed bourbon and is bottled at 115 proof (57.5% ABV).
Lux Row’s wheated mashbill is described as producing “a smoother bourbon with caramel and citrus notes and a velvety oak finish,” while the ryed mashbill produces “a spicier bourbon with hints of caramel and vanilla and a smooth, mellow finish.” The bourbon’s four grains (corn, wheat, rye and malted barley) are described as coming together in “a balanced, flavorful mix of both mashbills.”
Lux Row Four Grain Double Single Barrel is presented in the same bespoke bottle as Lux Row 12 Year and will feature a front metal-plate Lux Row logo, custom metal-plate collar, and customized bottom label detailing the barrel number and fill date for each of the two single barrels utilized in the bottle.
Lux Row Four Grain Double Single Barrel Bourbon is limited to 45,000 bottles and will be available beginning in August at a suggested retail price of $79.99 for a 750 mL bottle.
