Knob Creek Adds 7 Year Age Statement to Its Rye Whiskey

Knob Creek has announced the addition of a seven-year age statement to its Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey.
Despite the addition of an age statement to the brand’s core rye expression, Knob Creek wants to assure fans that this is the same Knob Creek Rye taste profile they know and love, but with the whiskey now guaranteed to be aged for a minimum of seven years for added depth of character due to the extra time in the barrel.
Knob Creek 7 Year Old Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey is bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV) and described as having aromas of “sweet caramel, vanilla, rye spice, apple, floral notes, and a hint of leather.” The palate is “full bodied” with “balanced black pepper, sweet vanilla, and caramel,” concluding with “lingering oak and rich spice” on the “warm and smooth” finish.
Knob Creek 7 Year Old Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey is now available nationwide and carries a suggested retail price of $36.99 for a 750 mL bottle.
