Latitude Beverage Launches Northcross Triple Wood Irish Whiskey
Latitude Beverage has announced the launch of Northcross Triple Wood Irish Whiskey, the first expression from their Northcross Irish Whiskey brand.
Crafted and matured at the Great Northern Distillery in Ireland, Northcross Triple Wood is made from a blend of whiskies, distilled in copper pot stills, and aged in a combination of ex-Bourbon barrels, Oloroso Sherry casks, and virgin American Oak before being bottled non-chill filtered at 86 proof (43% ABV).
Northcross Triple Wood is described as “rich” on the nose, with aromas of “graham cracker and honey.” The palate exhibits flavors of “chocolate syrup, beignets, creamy butterscotch, and orange zest,” concluding with notes of “marzipan and dried cherries” on the finish.
Northcross Triple Wood Irish Whiskey will be available beginning this month for a suggested retail price of $24.99. Retail distribution will initially be limited to Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island, but it will also be available for purchase nationwide via northcrosswhiskey.com.
