Glasgow Distillery Launches Banditti Club Smoky Rogues Peated Cask Finished Rum
The Glasgow Distillery has announced the launch of Banditti Club Smoky Rogues, a single cask limited edition rum finished in a peated whisky cask.
To create Banditti Club Smoky Rogues, The Glasgow Distillery’s spiced rum was finished in a Glasgow 1770 Peated Single Malt Whisky cask for approximately 18 months, before being bottled at 52.2% ABV.
Banditti Club Smoky Rogues is described as having notes of “dark chocolate, Christmas cake, and spiced orange which combine with smoky tobacco notes, mulled spices, and zesty marmalade,” concluding with “a long finish with subtle smokiness, hints of roasted pineapple, and earthy spices.”
Banditti Club Smoky Rogues Rum is limited to just 390 individually numbered bottles and is available now at a suggested retail price of £28 per bottle. Banditti Club Smoky Rogues can be purchased at glasgowdistillery.com and select retailers.
