Alberta Distillers Launches Alberta Premium Cask Strength Rye 2022 Release
Alberta Distillers has launched the 2022 release of Alberta Premium Cask Strength Rye. Originally released in 2020, this year marks the third release of the limited edition Canadian cask strength rye whisky.
Alberta Premium Cask Strength Rye is distilled in Calgary, Alberta from 100% Canadian Prairie rye grains grown by local farmers and with glacier-fed spring water from the surrounding Rocky Mountains.
The 2022 release of Alberta Premium Cask Strength Rye is bottled at 63.5% ABV and is described as “exceptionally smooth with notes of caramel, vanilla and a hint of chocolate balanced with the spiciness of rye and black currant,” concluding with a “smooth and lingering” finish with “the complexity of spice, warm vanilla and dark fruit.”
Alberta Premium Cask Strength Rye is now available in limited quantities at retailers nationwide for a suggested retail price of $79.99 for a 750 mL bottle.
