Ross & Squibb Launches Remus Gatsby Reserve
Ross & Squibb Distillery has announced the release of Remus Gatsby Reserve, a limited edition bourbon celebrating F. Scott Fitzgerald’s legendary novel, The Great Gatsby.
Crafted by Master Distiller Ian Stirsman and his team at Ross & Squibb Distillery, Remus Gatsby Reserve is made with the Lawrenceburg, Indiana, distillery’s 15 year old straight bourbon whiskey and presented in an Art Deco inspired bottle at a cask strength of 97.8 proof (48.9% ABV).
Remus Gatsby Reserve is described as having aromas of “dried candied fruit, caramelized pecans, charred oak, and tobacco.” The palate has notes of “candied fruit, syrup, leather, and cherry,” concluding with a “lingering” finish that exhibits notes of “cinnamon, char, and oak.”
Remus Gatsby Reserve will be available beginning this month in highly limited quantities at a suggested retail price of $199.99 per 750 mL bottle.
