High West Launches A Midwinter Night’s Dram Act 10
High West has announced the 2022 release of A Midwinter Night’s Dram, an annual, limited release of High West Rendezvous Rye finished in French oak Ruby and Tawny Port barrels.
This year’s release, Act 10, is described as having aromas of “ripe marionberries, smashed plums, blood orange peel, Saigon cinnamon, heavily toasted Oloroso Sherry cask, and leather-bound books.” The palate has notes of “blackcurrant jam, tart cherry crumble on a cedar plank, rose and pistachio pavlova, dark rye bread, candied ginger, Stilton blue cheese, and smoked apple wood”, finishing with “raspberry shortcake with whipped cream, black peppercorns, and bergamot.”
High West A Midwinter Night’s Dram Act 10 is bottled non-chill filtered at 49.3% ABV (98.6 proof) and will be available in limited quantities beginning October 2nd at a suggested retail price of $124.99.
