Ross & Squibb Distillery Releases Rossville Union 2022 Barrel Proof Rye
Ross & Squibb Distillery (MGP) has announced the launch of Rossville Union 2022 Barrel Proof, its annual, limited release straight rye whiskey.
This year’s release of Rossville Union Barrel Proof is a marriage of 82 barrels aged for seven years and bottled at 117.2 proof (58.6% ABV). Rossville Union 2022 Barrel Proof is described as having aromas of “rye spice, vanilla, caramel, oak, and slight chocolate,” with notes of “sweet caramel, vanilla, baking spices, and chocolate” on the palate, and a “lingering finish of rye and a hint of sweet mint.”
Rossville Union 2022 Barrel Proof is limited to 18,000 bottles and will be available beginning this month at a suggested retail price of $69.99.
