Corazón Tequila Releases 2021 Expresiones del Corazón Featuring Buffalo Trace Distillery Barrel Aged Tequilas
Corazón Tequila has announced the 2021 release of its limited edition Expresiones del Corazón, featuring tequilas aged in barrels from the Buffalo Trace Distillery. The 2021 lineup includes the Artisanal Blanco, Elmer T. Lee Reposado, George T. Stagg Añejo, and William Larue Weller Añejo.
Artisanal Blanco has been held for 60 days in stainless steel and is described “sweet and soft” with notes of “mint, eucalyptus, and a slightly tangy taste.” Suggested retail price: $59.99.
Elmer T. Lee Reposado has been aged for 12 months in Elmer T. Lee bourbon barrels and is described as having a “smooth, lightly sweet flavor with toasted almond, cinnamon, and chocolate notes.” Suggested retail price: $69.99.
George T. Stagg Añejo has been aged for 22 months in George T. Stagg bourbon barrels and is described as having notes of “cinnamon, chocolate, and green apple.” Suggested retail price: $79.99.
William Larue Weller Añejo has been aged for 26 months in William Larue Weller bourbon barrels and is described as having a “harmoniously smooth and dense taste with lightly sweet overtones.” Suggested retail price: $79.99.
All four of this year’s Expresiones del Corazón are bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof). Expresiones del Corazón are now available throughout the United States in highly limited quantities.
