Irish Distillers Launches Jameson Black Barrel Proof
Irish Distillers has announced Jameson Black Barrel Proof, a limited edition, high proof version of Jameson Black Barrel Irish whiskey.
Jameson Black Barrel Proof is a blend of triple distilled pot still and grain whiskey matured in American oak, sherry casks, and double charred ex-bourbon barrels, bottled at 50% ABV and without chill filtration.
Jameson Black Barrel Proof is described by Master Distiller Kevin O’Gorman as having a nose of “butterscotch sweetness and creamy, toffee, fudge aroma.” On the palate, “rich smooth taste with a deep intensity and dialed up spicy notes, complemented by vanilla sweetness.”
Jameson Black Barrel Proof will be available beginning early November at JamesonWhiskey.com and via select outlets in Ireland and at Dublin Airport. It carries a suggested retail price of €60 (~$69).

Hello, any chance this will be available in U.S.? Or how to know the “select outlets” in Ireland?
I’ve pinged my contact at Irish Distillers and will follow up if/when I hear back regarding a US release.

It won’t be coming to the US. Maybe if it does well they’ll do another, larger release that will include the US?
