Heaven Hill Announces Parker’s Heritage Collection 15th Edition
Heaven Hill Distillery has announced the 15th release in the Parker’s Heritage Collection, 11 Year Old Heavy Char Wheat Whiskey.
Distilled from a mashbill of 51% wheat, 37% corn, and 12% malted barley, Parker’s Heritage Collection 11 Year Old Heavy Char Wheat Whiskey is comprised of 75 barrels charred for one minute and 30 seconds (Level 5), as opposed to Heaven Hill’s traditional 40 second char (Level 3), matured for 11 years on the sixth floor of Rickhouse Y before being bottled NCF (non-chill filtered) at 122 proof (61% ABV).
Parker’s Heritage Collection 11 Year Old Heavy Char Wheat Whiskey is described as having aromas of “honey, soft oak, subtle cinnamon, and nutmeg spices.” The palate is “rich, soft and sweet, with hints of molasses and butterscotch,” and the finish is “long and warm, fading to pepper spices.”
Parker’s Heritage Collection 11 Year Old Heavy Char Wheat Whiskey will be available in limited quantities beginning in September at a suggested retail price of $139.99 for a 750 mL bottle.
