Mr Black and WhistlePig Announce Barrel Aged Coffee Liqueur
Mr Black and WhistlePig Whiskey have collaborated to launch a limited edition barrel aged coffee liqueur finished in WhistlePig Rye Whiskey barrels.
To create Mr Black x WhistlePig Barrel Aged Coffee Liqueur, WhistlePig shipped a few 10 Year Straight Rye Whiskey barrels to Sydney, Australia, where Mr Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur was placed inside and allowed to rest for at least six months before being bottled at 28% ABV.
Mr Black x WhistlePig Barrel Aged Coffee Liqueur is described as “an exceptional balance of coffee, rye, and oak,” with “distinct coffee aromas enriched by oak, honey, vanilla, cloves, and a hint of smokiness.” On the palate, “expect generous cold brew coffee, complemented by rich rye spice finishing with a long-lasting and warm finish.”
Mr Black x WhistlePig Barrel Aged Coffee Liqueur is limited to 2,400 bottles and carries a suggested retail price of $59.99.
