Heaven Hill Releases Elijah Craig Beer Barrel Finish
Heaven Hill Distillery has released Elijah Craig Beer Barrel Finish, a limited edition bourbon created in partnership with Goose Island Beer Company.
The barrels used to create Elijah Craig Beer Barrel Finish originally began their life as new, level three charred oak aging Heaven Hill’s traditional bourbon mash bill. The freshly emptied barrels then traveled to Chicago to age the 2018 release of Goose Island Bourbon County Stout, before returning to Kentucky for a third life finishing fully matured Elijah Craig Small Batch for 10 months.
Elijah Craig Beer Barrel Finish is bottled at 47% ABV (94 proof) in Elijah Craig’s 200 mL “grenade” packaging and retails for $39.99 exclusively at Heaven Hill Distillery’s Kentucky visitor experiences.
