14th Parker’s Heritage Collection Limited Edition Bottling Announced
Heaven Hill Distillery has announced Parker’s Heritage Collection 10 Year Old Heavy Char Bourbon, the 14th release in the Parker’s Heritage Collection.
Parker’s Heritage Collection 10 Year Old Heavy Char Bourbon is a marriage of 102 barrels distilled from a mash bill of 78% corn, 12% malted barley, and 10% rye and aged in heavy char (level 5) barrels on the sixth floor of rickhouse Y for 10 years. Heaven Hill claims “the heavy char brings forth a caramel and maple sweetness, as well as slight smokiness developed after 40 Kentucky seasons in the barrel.”
Parker’s Heritage Collection Heavy Char Rye Whiskey is bottled NCF (non-chill filtered) at 120 proof (60% ABV). The 2020 release in the Parker’s Heritage Collection will be available beginning this month at a suggested retail price of $120.00 for a 750 mL bottle.
