Canadian Club Launches CC Chronicles Issue No. 2: The Dock Man

Canadian Club has launched the second expression in the CC Chronicles limited edition series. Issue No. 2: The Dock Man is a Canadian Club 42 year old blended whisky that “celebrates the dock worker of years past who consistently delivered quality whisky to bar owners and drinkers when counterfeit whisky ran rampant during the Prohibition era.” The CC Chronicles series was launched in 2018 with the release of Issue No 1: Water of Windsor, a Canadian Club 41 year old blended whisky.
Issue No. 2: The Dock Man is described as having aromas of “robust rye spice, caramel, and oak with a hint of char”. The palate is “pleasantly warm and slightly sweet with delicate notes of brown sugar and baking spices balanced with oak and rye spiciness”, and the finish exhibits a “lingering taste of toffee and a subtle tartness of the palate.”
Canadian Club CC Chronicles Issue No. 2: The Dock Man is bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV) and is available in very limited quantities at a suggested retail price of $299.95 for a 750ml bottle.
