Diageo Reveals Cladach Blended Malt Scotch Whisky, Pricing & Availability for 2018 Special Releases
Five months ago, Diageo announced their 2018 Special Releases, revealing all but one of the planned expressions. Today, Diageo has revealed the 10th and final bottling, Cladach. Gaelic for the word “shoreline”, Cladach is a Blended Malt Scotch Whisky comprised of single malts from six coastal distilleries – Caol Ila, Clynelish, Lagavulin, Oban, Inchgower and Talisker. Cladach is described as having “maritime aromas of salt, warm sand and seaweed, and is salty with rich honey and citrus notes in taste.”
Diageo has also announced pricing and availability for the entire line-up. Disappointingly, Cladach, The Singleton of Glen Ord 14 Year Old, and Talisker 8 Year Old will not be made available to US retailers.
