Ardgowan Distillery has announced the launch of six new single cask Single Malt Scotch Whiskys under its Clydebuilt brand.

The six releases, comprising five single malts and one single grain, include:

• Clydebuilt 2013 Bourbon Barrel Single Cask, Aberlour Distillery: A Speyside single malt matured in a Bourbon barrel (#300080) and bottled at 58.1% ABV, yielding 192 bottles. It’s described as having aromas of “buttery fudge” and a palate of “vanilla whipped cream and ‘sherbet fruits’ boiled sweets.” RRSP £120.00.
• Clydebuilt 2015 Sherry Hogshead Single Cask, Aultmore Distillery: A Speyside single malt matured in a Spanish Sherry cask (#303634) and bottled at 56.6% ABV, yielding 305 bottles. It’s described as having aromas of “ripe figs and cinnamon sticks,” and a palate of “fruit scones with raspberry jam and clotted cream”. RRSP: £65.00.
• Clydebuilt 2012 Bourbon Hogshead Single Cask, Benriach Distillery: A Speyside single malt matured in a Bourbon barrel (#750335) and bottled at 56.0% ABV, yielding 226 bottles. It’s described as having aromas of “tropical fruit pavlova,” and a palate of “buttercream icing, retro boiled sweets, and fruit salad.” RRSP: £95.00.
• Clydebuilt 2005 Bourbon Hogshead Single Cask, Cameronbridge Distillery: A single grain matured in a Bourbon hogshead and bottled at 54.3% ABV, yielding 272 bottles. It’s described as having aromas of “buttered popcorn,” and a palate of “heather honey and peach cobbler drizzled with cream.” RRSP: £79.00
• Clydebuilt 2012 Bourbon Barrel Single Cask, Glen Garioch Distillery: A Highland single malt matured in a Bourbon cask (#4587) and bottled at 57.2% ABV, yielding 237 bottles. It’s described as having aromas of “marzipan and brown sugar,” and a palate of “hazelnut praline, vanilla fudge, and chewy raisins.” RRSP: £85.00.
• Clydebuilt 2015 Sherry Hogshead Single Cask, Linkwood Distillery:A Speyside single malt matured in a Spanish Sherry cask (#312013) and bottled at 56.3% ABV, yielding 332 bottles. It’s described as having “grassy aromas, alongside light peat,” and a palate of “creamy toffee and gooseberry jam.” RRSP: £59.00.

As with all Clydebuilt Single Cask whiskies, each expression is bottled at cask strength, without added coloring or chill filtration.

Fettercairn has announced the launch of its 12 Year Old and 16 Year Old single malts in the U.S.

Fettercairn 12 Year Old is matured in ex-bourbon American white oak barrels for at least 12 years. It’s presented of natural color and bottled non-chill filtered at 46% ABV.

Fettercairn 12 Year Old is described as having aromas of “vanilla and pear, softened by gentle spice.” The palate exhibits flavors of “nectarine and tropical fruit deepened by notes of roasted coffee, clove, and ginger.” It concludes with a finish that “lingers on golden raisins and black toffee.”

Fettercairn 16 Year Old is aged for at least 16 years in a combination of first-fill and refill American oak ex-bourbon barrels and hogsheads. It’s presented of natural color and bottled non-chill filtered at 46.4% ABV.

Fettercairn 16 Year Old is described as having aromas of “grilled pineapple, Madagascan vanilla, and sugared almonds.” The palate exhibits flavors of “tropical fruit, poached pear, and honey.” It finishes with notes of “vanilla, almond, and warming spice.”

Fettercairn 12 Year Old and 16 Year Old are now available nationwide for a suggested retail price of $54.99 and $89.99, respectively.

Woody Creek Distillers and the brand’s Spokesdude, Oscar-nominated and two-time Emmy Award-winning actor William H. Macy, have announced the release of Woody Creek William H. Macy Reserve Rye Third Edition.

Chosen in a blind tasting led by William H. Macy and Head of Distillation Stephen Julander, along with Woody Creek co-founders Mary and Pat Scanlan and bar industry luminary Sean Kenyon, the five-barrel blend was selected for its balance, depth, and character.

William H. Macy Reserve Rye Third Edition features a mashbill of 83% Elbon rye, 14% Dent corn, and 3% malted barley, all grown and harvested in Colorado and milled onsite at Woody Creek Distillery. It carries a 10 year age statement and is bottled-in-bond at 50% ABV (100 proof).

Woody Creek William H. Macy Reserve Rye Third Edition is described as having aromas of “butterscotch, lavender, citrus, and spice.” The palate exhibits notes of “rye, pecan, molasses, tea, and coffee.” It finishes with “long, warm, spice.”

Beginning May 15, Woody Creek William H. Macy Reserve Rye Third Edition will be available at select retailers and through Woody Creek’s direct-to-consumer channel at woodycreekdistillers.com for the suggested retail price of $199.99 per 750 mL bottle.

Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola have debuted their first Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Flavors Pack.

The new ready-to-drink (RTD) six-pack includes an assortment of 12 oz canned cocktails across three flavors: Jack & Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Jack & Coca-Cola Cherry Zero Sugar, and Jack & Coca-Cola Vanilla Zero Sugar. All three flavors are presented at 5% ABV and each cans contains 100 calories.

Koopers Whiskey has unveiled Koopers Straight Rye Whiskey Finished in Cognac Casks.

The limited edition whiskey was distilled in Indiana from a mash bill of 45% corn, 51% rye, and 4% barley. After aging for seven years in new, charred American white oak barrels, the whiskey was then finished in hand-selected French Cognac casks in Texas for eleven weeks and bottled at 96 proof (48% ABV).

Koopers Straight Rye Whiskey Finished in Cognac Casks is described as having aromas of “toffee pudding, candied apple, and sweet tobacco.” The palate exhibits “a balance of rye spice and rounded sweetness with warm spiced vanilla and brown sugar.” The finish “lingers with caramelized fruit, black pepper, and subtle oak.”

Koopers Straight Rye Whiskey Finished in Cognac Casks is limited to 225 bottles and is now available exclusively at the Koopers Whiskey tasting room in Ledbetter, Texas for $80 per 750 mL bottle.

Oscar Mayer has announced the launch of Oscar Mayer Maple Bourbon Bacon.

Cured with Evan Williams Bourbon, the new offering features thick-cut trimmed bacon finished with Oscar Mayer’s signature 12-hour slow smoke and subtle notes of vanilla and caramel from the barrel-aged Kentucky bourbon.

Oscar Mayer Maple Bourbon Bacon is now available at grocery stores nationwide.

Basil Hayden has announced the launch of Basil Hayden Golden Rye, a permanent expression that replaces Basil Hayden Malted Rye in the brand’s portfolio.

Crafted from the same 100% malted rye mashbill as the expression it replaces, Basil Hayden Golden Rye is intended to serve as an introduction to rye whiskey, emphasizing brightness, versatility, and approachability.

Basil Hayden Malted Rye is bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV) and described as having notes of “toasted rye, warm spice, and delicate florals.”

Sazerac has announced the official name of its Tennessee operation as AJ Bond Distillery, marking a major milestone as the company prepares to debut its first Tennessee Whiskey in summer 2026.

The name honors the bond between industry veterans Allisa Henley and the late John Lunn, whose shared passion and decades of experience helped bring Sazerac’s Tennessee whiskey ambitions to life. The company entered the category in 2016 with the acquisition of the Popcorn Sutton distillery facility, retaining the production team led by Henley and Lunn. Continued investment in equipment and capabilities followed, culminating in the relocation of the operation in 2019 to its current home in La Vergne, where production and aging continue.

Buffalo Trace Distillery has announced the latest release in the Buffalo Trace Experimental Collection: Low Entry Proof Wheated Bourbon Whiskey.

Buffalo Trace Experimental Low Entry Proof Wheated Bourbon explores how lower barrel entry proof influences wood interaction over extended aging, with the wheated bourbon distillate entered at 105 proof instead of its traditional 114 proof. While previous Buffalo Trace Experimental Collection releases have been bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV), Low Entry Proof Wheated Bourbon is bottled at 107 proof (53.5% ABV) to better capture and highlight the bourbon’s complex flavor profile.

Buffalo Trace Experimental Low Entry Proof Wheated Bourbon is described as having aromas of “caramel and warm brown spice that are balanced by subtle leather and tobacco notes.” The palate exhibits “full-bodied flavors of oak, earth and dried fig, mingling with a leathery depth and rounded sweetness.” The finish is “long and warming, where spice and fig linger alongside a grounded, oaky character.”

Buffalo Trace Experimental Collection: Low Entry Proof Wheated Bourbon Whiskey will be available in highly limited quantities beginning this month and carries a suggested retail price of $46.99 for a 375 mL bottle.
